For increase performance and maintain fitness which vitamins and proteins are necessary?

As long as you have a good diet, vitamins and extra protein aren't really necessary. But quite a few people recommend Vitamin D and Fish Oil. And ZMA is another good one. Beyond this, there isn't too much else to worry about. Focus mostly just on your diet. http://www.robbwolf.com is a great resource.
