S-buckle and eye screw

Hi All

I ordered a set of the EXF rings and am now planning out how to mount them. I will need to attach them to a joist in a finished ceiling, and wanted to see whether the new S-buckle mechanism is compatible with an eye screw? It seems like a single eye screw wouldn't provide sufficient diameter to engage the buckle - is that the case? If so I'll probably end up mounting a pipe or pull-up bar to hang them. The ceiling is ~14' so I need the full length of the straps.

You will need to take the S-buckle off before you thread the strap through the eye screw. After that, you can reconnect the S-buckle and then clip it onto the webbing.
