Postby Crimsonsun on Tue Dec 22, 2009 10:21 am

Hello, i am new to the forum, so i dont know if i have placed this in the right section, if i havn't please forgive me.

My goals are to accomplish 3 straddle push-ups, and 5 free-standing handstand push-ups.

here is my routine i do everyday of the week,

-5x5 facing-the-wall HSPU's
-3x10 elevated pseudo push-ups
-10 lowers from HS to tick planche (i still can't stop yet)
-6x10s tuck planche
-30's straddle wall leans

please critisize my routine, and help me. If you have a better routine that will help me achieve my goal faster please post and help!

thankyou,

It looks good. If you are doing the elevated pushups before the tuck planches, you might be having trouble because you are fatigued. But it really depends on your level of condition and how well warmed-up you are. If you are not doing a comprehensive warm-up, then you would probably want to do that stuff before the most intense work.
You might want to be doing some handstand work also, as that plays a huge role in doing the freestanding HSPU. And also, just to keep things balanced out, you might want to be doing some pulling work, like pullups, muscle-ups, front levers, etc.
