Chalk.
The ribbed surface of the rubber coating has worn down on my rings after about 3 months of regular use. I don't sweat too much on my hands, per se, but I don't enjoy needing to readjust my grip very often for any reason. I went to REI yesterday afternoon and got a tub of Bison chalk for rock climbing for $13. I'm under the impression that chalk is chalk and I'm not patient enough to wait for gymnastic chalk to be shipped to me from ebay

I bought it, brought it home and tried it for the first time today. It works wonders. I have also tried finger-less riding gloves. They were useless. I've been able to stay on the rings longer with chalk (apparently I did sweat a little bit on my hands??) and I tell you what... there's something strangely satisfying about having sore skin and blisters now

Chalk works
wonders. You'd think it was glue.
I imagine this 1lb will last for several weeks.
