A litle something about me, Ive never been fit but i always could perform a bit better then averege without previous training in any sport so i never trained:?
in 2002 i crashed my bike and broke my hip and since then ive had 3 surgerys , in result having a very poor fit level and through the effort to recovery ive now have somewhat become fond of exercising and the feeling of getting fitter
The main thing is that i shoud not put stress on my hip so i swimm, but swimming everyday seems to be to much , after 3 weeks or so of consistent training i feel beat up. I swimm 2.1km IM
A month ago i tried handstand training and somehow led me to rings, what i want to do (all ideas welcome) is to split throuout the week my workouts.
I made a plan and started monday with an ambisious 3,4km IM at the pool, i did it but it killed my hip muscles on my 'bad' hip and im in some pain now.
1,5 year has passed since the surgery and im still recovering but i think its ok since when i went into surgery my hip muscles had atrophyed, a month ago i started taking protein powder suplement to compensate the massive(in my oppinion) tissue damage in the hip muscles when exercising, im getting better but because the rest of my body says go go i cant find the limit
So enter the rings! upper body build super exersice without streesing the lower limbs(if you know any exersice to work them out without puting weight on the femur that would be great!)
The rings are just overwhelming i tried the icecream maker and after a couple of 1lifts i was sore on my chest and arms , they kick ass!
Any comment what so ever is welcome ive also started the zone diet to get lean and make everything easier
Any question about mounting the rings is also welcome!
