Tips

5. Practice high tension techniques constantly with and without weights. Treat every weight as if it is very heavy. Read Power to the People for information on these techniques.

4. Do not get caught up in number games. In the beginning, train instinctively and always stay within yourself. Do not aim too high and get injured. Leave the high volume workouts for when you have solid technique.

3. Practice outdoors with bare feet whenever possible. This is one of the greatest benefits of kettlebell lifting. No need for yuppy gyms with stale air, sweaty machines and bad music. Enjoy the fresh air!

2. Always strive for refinement in your technique. Watch your training partners and share ideas. Try video taping yourself for a self-critique. Your technique will almost never look right in a mirror, so don't even bother looking. Your biggest and fastest gains will be a result of improved technique.

1. Watch Pavel's video again, again, again and again. Memorize his book and share your insights with the discussion board. Your mental software is the key to strength.
